One of the standout features of the Minimoog Model D App is its ability to play chords with up to four-note polyphony, a capability absent in its analog predecessor. It also includes an easy-to-use arpeggiator for rhythmic pattern creation, a real-time looping recorder with unlimited overdubbing capacity, a tempo-synchronizable stereo ping pong delay module, and the Bender - a wide-range stereo time modulation effect module. These added functions provide users with inspiring sound creation tools not found in the original hardware.

In addition to its powerful features, the Minimoog Model D App supports AUv3 Audio Unit extensions, allowing users to use multiple instances of this instrument simultaneously within compatible iOS apps that support AUv3.
